About the event
This year's ROLES conference will take place online via Zoom on Wednesday 31 May 2023 from 10am until 4.30pm. We have five excellent panels this year and we are delighted that our conference will be opened with remarks by Lisa Downing, Professor of French Discourses of Sexuality here at UoB. We have panels entitled: Perspectives in Contemporary Media, Social Inquiries, Queer Art and Literature, Perspectives on Resistance, and Exploring Affect. We also welcome student colleagues from other universities, please do get in touch with us if you are not a UoB student and have an interest in presenting at the conference.
